Andrew Jeong Wed, August 4, 2021, 4:09 AM·3 min read A small county in Missouri undercounted the number of fatalities caused by the coronavirus after a coroner agreed to remove covid-19 as a cause of death from some death certificates upon being asked by families of the deceased.
The undercount in coronavirus-linked deaths in Macon County, home to around 15,000, as a result of the coroner's actions is relatively small. The Kansas City Star, which first broke news of the story, pegged the figure at a half-dozen or more. But it comes amid broader recognition that the number of covid fatalities in the United States is probably higher than the official tally of 614,000.
In Macon, some requests came from people who wanted to avoid being reminded of how they could not see family before their deaths because of restrictions on visits to hospitals and nursing homes. "A lot of families were upset. They didn't want covid on the death certificates," the county coroner, Brian Hayes, told the Star.

How does anyone know? No autopsies were performed. Even if you got crushed by a steamroller, if you were positive for The ‘Rona you were counted as a ‘Rona death.

Given the fact that the FDA now says that the PCR test was useless. A test that couldn’t differentiate what someone had. A test, whose protocols were dramatically changed to show that someone was “sick” with something.
And the fact that folks who died of all sorts of reasons, ie car accidents, heart attacks, etc, who were then tested for The ‘Rona, popped positive and were then counted as a ‘Rona death, I’m thinking the number is smaller. Then toss in all the folks that were, basically, murdered by the mishandling of folks in nursing home in NY, Michigan, and other states, no telling what the number is.
Just remember about the Director of Public Health in Illinois, who stated: that no matter how someone dies, if they have covid at the time of death, they will be counted as a covid death. Doesn’t matter if they were hospice on deaths door..........her statement, not mine.
Or get reimbursed from the gov’t.
The other side of the story- not often talked about or talked about enough- is covid falsely being placed on a death certificate so the state gets $$$ from the gov’t.
The father of a client of mine died more than a year ago when this all broke. He had terrible Alzheimer’s and was going downhill quickly long before the pandemic. He dies about two weeks into the pandemic. My client got a call early in the morning and was told, “Your father passed away peacefully last evening. It was cardiac arrest but he did not suffer.”
She gets the death certificate and cause of death is listed as “suspected covid-19.” When she questioned the doctor about it the response she got was, “we think he had a fever when he died.”
Also subtract another 30,000 who actually died of the flu

Any evidence for that? The test not telling the difference between the Flu and Covid is a falsehood.

What about the OVERCOUNT of people dying WITH COVID but not FROM COVID?
I read several weeks ago that some group did a forensic analysis of the death certificates (primary CoD, contributing CoD, etc.) and they came up with a 25% overcount. That brings the death toll down to 460,500. The idea that a rural Missouri coroner is going to somehow skew the national covid death count is ludicrous.
I have never heard of such a thing. Do they have to make up a new death certificate?
This sounds like BS to me, or at least, illegality.
If I were to die of a drug overdose, could my spouse ask to have that removed from the death certificate?

I did find this article from November 2020: Hospital forced to retract COVID death certificate after furious family members demand answers when it was revealed the deceased had never had a positive Covid test.
And I found this other article from January 2021 in which a pastor working with prisoners contracted Covid but did NOT have Covid listed in his cause of death: 'It’s like we didn’t count': when Covid deaths are omitted, families pay the price (In this case, the story states: After Bruce died, his wife applied to two pandemic relief programs seeking help with $1,500 in missed payments on a truck and an electricity bill. But, she said, she was denied because his death certificate didn’t mention Covid-19." )
He was a significantly obese man (probably in the range from 250-300 lbs) from the picture at the linked article, and that fact is that money in the form of government Covid related handouts is at the center of the dispute. This may or may not apply. Was Covid left off deliberately in these cases to avoid government handouts?
Having it removed from the death certificate doesn't raise concerns with me the same way (except in my concern of whether it is legal or not) it does concern me for people pressing to have it added on simply because of the compensation aspect.
I’ll do my research and post it, but feel free to show me yours saying that it can differentiate.
And while you do that, also explain to me how the traditional, FLU, was virtually eradicated last year. Nary a case reported. But anyone and everyone, that was tested by a manipulated test...test to be run at the “25 cycle limit” was run at the “40 cycle limit” which then detected a virus/any virus.... and everyone that popped positive had COVID.
Shocking the flu disappeared off the medical landscape last year.
At this point, if you believe ANYTHING coming from the CDC, WHO, Fauci, the Left, and Big Pharma, I hope you’re also happy that you voted for CornPop and Harris.

This implies - though does not explicitly state - that the current method cannot differentiate between SARS-CoV-2 and influenza viruses.
You said that the test could not tell the difference between Flu and Covid. Your words, not his.
The poster DID say the test was useless, as many of us concluded who observed a wealthy businessman and celebrity such as Elon Musk who had four tests in one day, the same kit, in the same facility, by the same person, and two came out positive and two came out negative. That is a fact.
And the fact remains that the CDC recognizes that this PCR test (by the way, the same PCR test that created this idiotic hysteria leading to Federal and State actions resulting in millions of unemployed citizens, businesses going under, and children being robbed of their educational opportunities) is based on unsound principles as the poster qaz123 stated, and that they would withdraw their request for FDA approval beyond an emergency measure.
For all the good that has done, as if that damage can be fixed after the fact.
So. Are you going to defend the PCR test, even when the CDC was forced to abandon it for very public reasons?
