Ken Burns blasted Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg as ‘an enemy of the state’ who ‘doesn’t give a s***’ about the United States and thinks he and his No. 2, Sheryl Sandberg, should be tried for crimes against humanity and put in prison.
‘He knows he can transcend it. He can get away to any place,’ Burns, the award-winning film documentarian and historian, told The New York Times.
‘And so it’s just about filthy lucre, that’s it.’
Burns, the 68-year-old two-time Oscar winner, made the remarks during an interview with Times podcaster Kara Swisher, who invited the filmmaker to talk to him about his latest project - famed boxer Muhammad Ali.
He brought up Zuckerberg’s name unprompted even though Swisher didn’t ask about the tech mogul.
Swisher did not follow up on Burns' comments, and the filmmaker did not specify why he thought Zuckerberg was a traitor.
Instead, Swisher responded to the Zuckerberg comments by cryptically telling Burns: 'You’re going to love my memoir, Ken.'
The two then move on to discuss the craft of documentary filmmaking.

So, Ken is a dirtbag. So is Zuck.
His Civil War series was especially full of lies, ommissions and slants. For example, he never mentioned the Corwin Amendment. He never mentioned the Tariff or unequal federal government expenditures. He never mentioned the various grievances people had about the federal government usurping ever more power for itself. Imagine making a series about the War Between the States and never once mentioning slavery or using the word slave even once. Imagine how slanted that would be. That would be the mirror image of Ken Burns’ ahistorical propaganda piece.
Burns is a rabid hard core leftist. This is like Stalin and Hitler going at it.
The State Department does this. Every foreign VIP gets anything and everything scanned and uploaded. Any politician or military officer who interacts with an embassy or mission abroad has a file. Every agency from CIA, DIA, FBI, USAID. DOD, etc. can access it with proper security clearance and, or authorized request.
All visa and passport applicants are loaded into a worldwide police database.
Stay off FB, Twitter or similar tracking programs.
Maybe Burns figured out that F*¢kRberg was behind stealing the Dem nomination from Bernie twice. I have fun with the Bernie Bros explaining how they rigged the primaries too.
Burns lies to you in each documentary. He’s a Leftist radical if not a Communist.
The surest sign that communism is a religion is how they go after heretics with more zeal than even what they view as us heathens.
Yep. I was astonished at the blatant bias in the baseball series and it made me realize all of Ken Burns’ crap is remorseless propaganda. Next he’ll do a series about the increase in the chocolate ration.
Perhaps the ghost of Shelby Foote is haunting him.
