Former President Trump wasn’t on the ballot, but he was one of the winners as the candidate he backed won a GOP primary in a special House election in Ohio's 15th Congressional District on Tuesday.
And progressive Democrats were the losers, as the well-known contender they were supporting lost to a candidate endorsed by the party’s establishment and the Congressional Black Caucus in a Democratic primary election for a vacant House seat in Ohio’s 11th Congressional District.
"Tonight, Republicans across Ohio's 15th Congressional District sent a clear message to the nation that President Donald J. Trump is, without a doubt, the leader of our party," said Mike Carey, the candidate the former president endorsed, said on Tuesday night.

You should autjor a post thanking Liz Cheney for identifying the 145 turncoats the primary out. something with a title like "Thanks Liz Cheney for Exposing RINOs to Boot in the 2022 GOP primaries".
The problem is it was a secret vote, so we can’t readily identify them.
That is why they used the secret vote. There is no such thing as a secret vote if it was done in the House legislative chamber. Somebody recorded the votes and it will come out.
My GOP rep admitted to voting for Lizard Cheney. I imagine many others did, too. He’s not going to get a do-over from my family. We won’t be voting for him and Lizard in 2022.
Correct. The Nov 2 elections will fill these two seats leaving the only other vacant seat which is the FL 20th district.
I doubt that any candidate the CBC backs can be considered a win. At least for the constituents. Hope the republican wins the final contest.
