'Fever Swamps of Liberal Twittersphere' Rage at Hungary over Tucker Visit
Breitbart ^ | 4 Aug 2021 | JACK MONTGOMERY

Hungary is bearing the brunt of the anger of the “fever swamps of the liberal Twittersphere” after FNC’s Tucker Carlson announced he would be hosting his show from Budapest this week.

The Central European country is led by a popular national conservative-led government which has already earned the lasting ire of the left-liberal establishment in the European Union for refusing to implement the bloc’s mandatory migrant redistribution quotas, denouncing billionaire plutocrat George Soros as “one of the most corrupt people in the world” and calling out the European politicians and institutions which “serve” him, and implementing a generous system of tax breaks and financial support for parents to encourage family formation — explicitly as an alternative to mass immigration.

Most recently, the Hungarian parliament drove EU anger at the country to fever pitch by passing anti-paedophile legislation which included provisions banning the promotion of transgenderism and other LGBT content in schools, with the bloc’s unelected executive announcing legal action to try and overturn the new laws.

Right now, nobody is driving Dementia Joe and his Dem horde more crazy than Tucker Carlson.
And I just love the Hungarian government.
Excellent choice on where to host his show from.

Budapest really is a nice city and not terribly expensive. The parliament is beautiful. And kids play outside. There are signs telling people if they come to Hungary they must respect its traditions.

It seems a lot safer than Paris—that city has “migrant” neighborhoods (arrondissements) that look scarier than anything St. Louis, Memphis or New Orleans has to offer.

There is a reason Hungary doesn’t want to go the way of Western Europe.

.

The euro-trash prog gotta have their perversions forced on everyone to “normalize” it.

Pushback is just cause for screaming fits and demands for conforming to prog edicts.

“Unelected” Executive doesn’t sound good, or am I missing something?

Forgive me, but part of me does not care anymore, I am tired of the whole gay crap. Many years ago I agreed that the gov needed to get out of the marriage business and let adults marry who they want and other things I care less to count and it is still not enough, idgaf anymore about em.

I may have to look into Hungary as a possible bug out country.

You're not missing anything. A lot of Freepers are willing to throw Constitutional republicanism under the bus as long as the tyrant is their kind of thug.

And while he’s there will he tell the Hungarians to report their neighbors to the equivalent of CPS if their neighbors choose to mask their kids? I always thought conservatism was about protecting parental rights from the tyranny of the state, but apparently Tucker disagrees.

The unelected executives referenced in the article are of the EU.

I’ve never seen even a single Freeper support the EU globalist agenda.

The EU bureaucracy in Brussels who are running things, but have not been elected to anything. They are the EU equivalent of America’s Deep State.

I've seen many Freepers support the January 6th rioters. That's what I meant by "their kind of thug".

The “Unelected executive” that the article refers to is part of the EU bureaucracy in Brussels, not the Hungarian government.

And just why would he do that in someone else’s country?

I always thought conservatism was about protecting parental rights from the tyranny of the state, but apparently Tucker disagrees.

Just keep making stuff up and projecting.

Try to stay on topic. It appears you mistakenly thought post #5 was referring to Orban rather than the EU. Orban is not a thug by any stretch.

Most conservative Freepers strongly support the Jan 6 Patriots who tried to stop Dementia Joe from stealing the elections, with one even giving her life.
We need to give them medals.

Orban is not a thug by any stretch.

He has sicced police dogs on refugees, dismantled checks and balances, and has openly stated he wants to model the Hungarian government after Russia, China, and Turkey. Sounds pretty thuggish to me.

So as Western Europe sinks irretrievably into the hellhole of decadence, Eastern Europe emerges as the still ascendant bastion of liberty, justice, truth, and Western Civilisation.

One might imagine a coalition of Eastern European nations, including Russia, as the surviving stronghold of civilisation and ascendancy.
