Sometimes art imitates life and sometimes life imitates art. Today we are living the latter…and it’s called The Terminator. Little did we know when we first watched Arnold utter “I’ll be back” in 1984 that we were watching our real future.
For those who don’t remember, Terminator was set in 1984 Los Angeles when a cyborg is sent back from 2029 to kill Sarah Connor. The premise is that at some point Skynet, an artificial intelligence defense system, had gained self-awareness and launched a nuclear war in its effort to destroy civilization and the humans who built it. John Connor was leading the resistance against Skynet and was nearing victory. In a last-ditch attempt to win, Skynet sent the Terminator, a cyborg, back in time to kill Sarah Connor before her son, John, could be born. The resistance sent back Kyle Reese, their best soldier, to try to save Sarah.
While the names may have been changed to protect the not-so-innocent and while we may not be in 1984, make no mistake, we are very much in the throes of the apocalypse that Linda Hamilton was facing as she drove off into the sunset.
Our Skynet is called Silicon Valley and it is comrade to the American left. Unlike Skynet, which gained self-awareness, Silicon Valley is full of people who seem to have no self-awareness at all. They proffer ideas that normal people recognize as ludicrous – e.g., men can give birth, America is systemically racist, and defunding police leads to safer streets -- yet they think they are correct about everything.

Don't make that mistake. The forces in play are far from "dumb"... I don't think it's a stretch to call them "diabolical".
Patriots need to resist the madness, and in the spirit of the article, it can't be by using the Internet without specialized, secure software that would likely be quickly banned.
It will take real social interaction, at church and at the tavern, as it did historically...and beware of informants, as the 1/6 episode and many others show. The enemy is actively recruiting.
The push for authoritarianism has been extremely rapid. I sure never thought I'd see it in America.

I vaguely recall seeing it (or something like it) in movie from my childhood and it scared the daylights out of me!
I'm still scared of mannequins and human-sized statues. For me the really terrifying childhood memory, from 5 years old, was the Twilight Zone episode "After Hours". A woman thinks she is returning a ring for her mother to a Department Store. She gets stuck in the building after 5:00 PM, she goes to an unmarked, 13th floor on the elevator, there are mannequins in shadowy, 1/2 light, they start talking to her in echoey voices without moving. Turns out she is a mannequin herself, who got a mannequin's vacation to become real for 2 weeks, she forgot to return to the 13th floor, it's another mannequin's turn to become real for a vacation. She has to go back to being a mannequin.
Otherwise, we are nothing more than slaves, pets, and food (remember Soylent Green, and They Live! ?).
They have been very out-in-the-open on their plans for Humanity...
