Since supporters of then-President Donald Trump swarmed the US Capitol on January 6 — forcing Congress to go into lockdown and damaging the halls of government — 599 people have been arrested and charged with crimes.
The FBI is seeking the public's help to identify people who took part in one of the most documented crimes in US history.
But since many rioters were allowed to walk free on January 6, it's taking some time to track them down.
This table includes the names, charges, and links to court documents of all the people charged so far. We're keeping it updated as more names are released.
Only 23 charged rioters have entered guilty pleas so far.
The number of people charged in the insurrection is expected to keep growing as FBI agents pore through video footage, social media posts, phone location data, and tips from the public.
Democratic members of Congress pushed for a bipartisan commission to investigate the Capitol riot akin to the one made post-9/11, but Senate Republicans blocked the attempt.

And I’m extremely pissed that Trump isn’t advocating for them, and shouting from the highest hills about this injustice. It. Is. Shameful.
If he has done anything beyond a minor mention at a rally, I haven’t heard about it and I apologize. These people were where they were fighting for him
No, that is not known publicly, many were caught in phone traffic intersections.
Remember this is not the first time that citizens were entrapped this way. The Waco Twin Peaks is a good example of FBI data fabrication.
And remember CNN is AT&T. Remember that someone bombed the AT&T data building in Nashville(?). Who did that? The one guy who blew up? Doubt it was one person. Not defending any part of that, just saying.
These are very very bad people (CNN, MSNBC, AT&T Globalist Dictator shills).
There are a whole lot of those smaller incidents - many of which are long forgotten by most, since they played out in the Western US were most people have little interest.
And the Media has little interest in reporting, beyond a 5 second blurb never to be repeated or followed up on.
They were “data gathering exercises” of a sort.
I may need to use most fingers on one hand to count them and show the total. No need for a calculator.
If I see one of the looters go by first I will use up one of mine to show them my opinion.
Yes, Absolutely correct.
Those who did were called crazy. I don’t dismiss the fringe anymore without some thought.
Look, don’t blame Trump.
He is one many who did a remarkable amount of good while in office. And his enemies totally controlled DC.
It is up to the states to fix this. There will be no solutions coming from inside DC. The entrenched bureaucraps will see to that.
They will do nothing to him. He was a paid actor/agent.
Scare? Yes.
Also Anger.
“They will do nothing to him. He was a paid actor/agent.”
Of course that’s the case, and they let him out of jail in a few days.
I doubt that data is available. This probably largely came from court documents. The size of the list of authors indicates it was manually extracted from some documents. Not likely it came directly from the DOJ.
How does our political prisoner count compare to Russia?
The FBI arrested a California man after receiving a tip of his involvement in the January 6 Capitol riot from a church prayer group member.
Only the beginning... Dissent must be brutally oppressed.
What the Nazis did to the Jews, Democrats will do to us.
They can’t unless they caught them at the time.
Anonymous informant?
What kind of insurrection doesn’t bring rope.
None charged and convicted of insurrection. So every last political prisoner held in this political persecution of sovereign citizens,, should sue for slander or libel or whatever charge that is, for having to suffer the shame of being falsely accused of something they never committed.
Maybe this will be the covington scene where the defendants will bet to sue thr ms for falsely labeling them as insurrectionists- I sure hope so!
We aren’t ‘fringe,’ just people with an ability to put current events together and draw future conclusions - I used to do this all the time in my former profession and most came to be; unfortunately. that ability did not apply to my choices in women ...
