The twitter feed of this “so called” journalist is filled with derision and smears of conservative politicians and fanboy cheering of leftist agitators.
There’s no outright smear here, but it’s also barely a story. My guess is there’s an effort in those liberal Journo-list back channels to frame up and coming outsider politicians with meager upbringings as hayseeds and white trash thinking that the blueblooded waspy wing of the GOP will never trust them as insiders. It mostly worked with Sarah Palin, so why not try the same trick with anyone else who has the same appeal as Sarah Palin.
