I went to several retailers yesterday for some errands. The masks in Georgia are back to about 50% of the shoppers. For the first time in weeks I saw fear in peoples eyes again. I’m actually astounded that suicide numbers are not higher. These people must quiver when they see their own shadows.

The rest of us are tired of the charade. Wal-Mart IS China so I have no problem taking my business to a non multi-national entity.

“Hopefully they can sue the crap out of their employer.”

Nope.

In Dec 2020, US EEOC issued guidance stating that employers may require to be vaccinated. There are exceptions, e.g. - religion, disability accommodations. Then this brings up whether an employee will need a vax-pass. (Of course when it comes to illegals getting jobs in the country, getting employers to verify status is “too burdensome” and givermint cyclops winks and turns its blind eye.) Someone will sue somewhere for employment discrimination - is a vax or the documentation essential to the job? But if it makes it to CSJ Roberts, it will be a 6-3 “yes”, take your medicine and like it decision.

If a person gets injured by the vax, it brings in workmanscomp to shield the employer from lawsuits.

I’ve noticed the muslim communities are quiet. Bet they won’t be forced to get a vax. Same with the American Indian tribes. Ain’t going door to door on the reservations. That would be a great question for communista Jen “Why Do You Need That Info” Pataki.

It’s going to be even harder to find a walmart associate to help locate obscure items.

The Science must say managers are more likely to transmit to others

Try finding a walmart manager when the min wage employees are impossible to find. Unless they leave a ladder unit in an aisle and you roll it over to get a top shelf item yourself, then they come out of the woodwork like roaches after you turn the light out. Just proves that the majority of them are in their comfy chairs in a remote room watching the cameras.

I’m wondering how many businesses and other organizations will allow unvaccinated to not get vaccinated if they 1) wear masks 2) get tested weekly?

But there will pressure on the unvaccinated. People will find out.

My theory - the smaller the business, the more likely they will let the person go unvaxxed. Big companies will run it like the givernment tells them to run it.

How is it Workman’s Comp?
It will be done on non work hours by a private medical facility.
I’m actually asking, not stating I know.

First, the vax injury would occur relatively close in time to the when the vax was administered. Employer required the vax in order to perform one’s job. That’s my argument.

I see where you were going, the “injury didn’t happen on the job”.

I say it did. Doesn’t matter where or when the vax was administered. It was received under mandate of the employer for employment. “When” is a subjective word in this context. A “no jab, no job” policy in order to deny workman comp is coercion, and a fraud to allow employers to get away with doing the demnkkkraps dirty work - implementing federal givernment political policy without having the balls to pass a law.

We will soon cherish today’s shortage of cashiers as “the good old days”. LOL

Or shop elsewhere.

Ours had a masked gal at a table by the entrance, with a package of fresh masks...

...probably loaded with Graphene Oxide.

Problem is that Walmart and other businesses hands are tied. The real culprit is government, not it’s victims.

So the Managers who fall in line, and get vaccinated, will be spreading the virus to the workers, along with their family and friends. Will Walmart be held responsible for those workers who succumb from the jabs?

"Yesterday at my local WalMart..."

I got back home on Tuesday after visiting my son in Indiana for two weeks. Went to my local Walmart to pick up some things on Wednesday. As usual, and this has been going on far longer than just the lockdown of the last year, the store was short of everything. There was hardly any bacon, and none of the Wright's thick bacon I always buy. They were also out of the Brown Sugar and Honey sausage links, and they had no Ore-Ida Fast Food French fries that I buy. I asked the help of the guy working that area, and was surprised to see him masked. I hadn't heard that Walmart was making their workers mask up again. Every time I go to this particular Walmart, and it's been this way for at least 3 years or more, I feel like they're having a going-out-of-business sale. In order to get the items I can't find at my local Walmart, I have to make a special trip to the one a half-hour away from me. I've got a doctor's appointment on Monday near that store, so will at least be able to stop there before I head back home. Hopefully they'll have the stuff I need.

I’m a Walmart employee. Walmart wants NO part of requiring customers or employees to mask or get vaccinated. If it’s recommended by the local government they will put up a sign saying just that but not enforce. They fear lawsuits over this crap. The only time they require masks is when the local government requires that all businesses require masks. It’s easier for them to say “It’s not us. It’s the law”.

Walmart has, however, encouraged employees to get vaccinated only with an incentive of $75 with proof of vaccination. This is because they are the nation’s biggest employer and a good chunk of the US population they feel they could help get the vaccine.

That said, no manager, no team lead ever approaches an associate to ask them if they are vaccinated. They feel that doing so is against the law and they stay clear away from such questions.

Bottom line, it is the American people (us) who need to make the change by writing to our reps. At this point, that’s all we can do to change all of this.

Walmart like most businesses is a company that just wants to sell their stuff without political hoops. They don’t want governors to shut them down and believe me, out governor has sent state police to bars in the middle of nowhere in Maine and put them OUT of business for failing to require masks. Businesses are one of the victims.

Do you live in a state that accepts the extra federal unemployment money in their check? If so, one of the reasons why recently the shelves are empty is because Wal-Mart like most businesses is very under staffed. Why work if you can stay home for $600+ a week?

This problem (unemployment money) is also causing understaffing issues in the companies where meat is packed along with many other products (outside of your state). “Do we have any restaurant style bacon in yet?” The question of the weekend again this weekend at my local stores

I live in Rome, New York. The stocking problems at my local Walmart have been going on for more than 3 years. It has nothing to do with Covid, the lockdown, etc. I think because we’re a small city, Walmart distribution doesn’t think our local store needs to be stocked as regularly as others. If the items I normally buy are in stock at a Walmart a half-hour away, why aren’t they in stock at my store? There’s been a big Walmart distribution center 15 minutes away from both stores at least since 2003. That’s when I retired, and it was there then.
