I’m glad we are long past the era where FReepers swooned over Thune as VPOTUS material because he was “handsome and speaks well” . He turned out to be a disappointment shortly after replacing Dasshole.
Pretty-boy Congressmembers, Senators and Governors often end up disappointing us (or worse). Remember Willard the Rat.
Then again, a lot of the dogs do, too (see: Mitch).
BTW, the sophomore House member, Dusty Johnson, from SD (who is presumably biding his time to succeed one of the 2 Senators) is pretty awful, too. He needs to be replaced.
