Tough crowd, tough crowd.
Sen. Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.) was reportedly "booed" by his fellow Democrats after mentioning the budget deficit at a caucus luncheon earlier this week, according to Politico. One witness maintains that Manchin was "jokingly booed," but another reports not having seen it that way.
Manchin, who holds "fairly typical budget-hawk beliefs," views the growing national debt as a "heavy burden" on the economy and future generations, writes Politico. His gamble to bring it up during the luncheon perhaps indicates Democrats are in "for even more haggling over the price tag" of their $3.5 trillion reconciliation bill, at which Sen. Kyrsten Sinema (D-Ariz.) already balked on Wednesday.

Manchin and Sinema. We can trust them, up to a certain point. They need to hold the line against the filibuster.
No intention of EVERY paying down debt.
Stuff as much pork into connected interests hands and hope that some of those trillions come back to the poltiicians (in campaign funds or other kickbacks).
And against the 3.5 tril ?
If both of them are against it then they cannot push that through, right?
How can these elected officials be such immature children?
Manchin is in the best of company. The democrats booed Almighty God Himself at their convention.
When all is said and done he will talk a good game and then vote to spend an additional 3.5 trillion. Take a bow Joe.
They want us to owe the world. So that the world owns us.
