Actually, these are the known COVID variants to date:

Theta and others are missing, whether this is because the variant was not 'of concern', or a particular naming convention I don't know.

Well, and there's the answer -- the WHO is using the Greek alphabet straight up to name the variants.

So in all likelihood we will get to the COVID strain of "Xi".

But before then the last black hole in the universe will have decayed, leaving the Demonicrat kakistocrats without much more to screw up.
