Any system can be defeated. The more you know about it, the easier it is to defeat it. It’s a sham. Voting should be 100% transparent. The ballots should be counted at the precinct using analog, not digital, equipment. The results tabulated in front of the voters who want to watch, and posted on the doors of the precinct and photographed for the whole world to see. No slipping in ballots after the fact. No USB drives sent to the clerk’s office.
Mail in ballots just make it so much easier to cheat. That’s very analogue cheating. Digital cheating of course could be very easy too. Just log into the admin and change the settings, or alter the database, or slip in a code to flip votes. 1000 different things are possible. Connect them to the internet is just more exposure.
People use their mouse to copy/cut/paste. But you could do the same thing using a keyboard without the mouse. Same rules apply. Many ways to cheat. I am really tired of this nonsense that elections are secure. They haven’t truly been secure for at least 100 years. Al Capone used the old fashioned method of just intimidating voters. Beat one or two guys who didn’t vote your way and everyone else in line falls in line. Simple, really.
Or make sure the machines are out of alignment or use bleed thru paper and sharpies. Any thing that sends the ballot to “adjudication” so a democrap can flip your vote after the fact.
