This is wrong, if this accurate. I will wait and see, but if this holds out to be factual, then arrests of some of the Feds and jailers involved is in order. If the DOJ is in on it, then who does the arresting? Federal Marshals?

Constitution is clear. Congress, not the executive, and not its residents has jurisdiction over DC. As to who does the arresting, the answer is also Congress. It has the authority to arrest and jail folks on its own. It just hasn’t used that authority for so long that most people have forgotten about it. The limitation here is that the authority rests in Congress as a body, not in necessarily in its individual members. A joint resolution of Congress would be authoritative. How much individuals or small groups of members acting on their own can do I don’t know?
