President Joe Biden and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, who are out of step with their Church’s teaching on the subject of abortion. But, to my observation, the Catholic Church has come into lockstep with the Democrats on the subject of homosexuality/perversion.
I'm not Catholic, but I miss the days when the Pope was Catholic.

I find it useful to think of ‘but’ in this context as an acronym. Expand it to “Behold the Ultimate Truth”, and it makes sense. Everything after the ‘BUT’ is true. Everything before it, is a lie.
