PHOENIX (AP) — Former Republican Secretary of State Ken Bennett said Wednesday that he plans to step down as the Arizona Senate’s liaison to the GOP-led audit of the 2020 election, dealing another blow to the credibility of the unprecedented partisan review.
Bennett has been barred from the building where audit work is happening after he gave data to outside election experts without telling Senate President Karen Fann or employees of Cyber Ninjas, the firm Fann hired to lead the audit.
On Wednesday, Fann said ballot counting is complete and the ballots are being returned to Maricopa County elections officials.

I doubt too they were saying this when the Democrats were conducting their “Russia collusion” witch hunt for four years.

Media bias is obvious.
The truth is this person gave very little credibility to the process. The audit team and the process they followed provides all the credibility. That said, if anything, this action strengthens the validity of the audit because it shows a no BS approach to this process.

The AP is getting worse by the day. Please, somebody, organize a large protest against the AP. They are the worst of the worst. Even worse in my opinion than CNN, because nearly everyone recognizes that CNN is a joke.

Ken’s a good guy who made a minor mistake and maybe none at all. He’s just backing out to make sure there’s no further rocks that can be thrown.
And as far as “another”, what would the first one be? There’s been no credible complaint against the audit, the election was far worse. Kate Hobbs is at best a drooling incompetent and at worst a complicit conspirator. Personally, I’ll take Door #2 but charitable people can stand on the first choice.

I may be simplistic in my thinking here, but if the audit is nearly complete, why would Ken stay on?
I bet that is all there really is to the story.
The AP uses all too familiar propaganda techniques that could make a sinister story out of someone eating cereal for breakfast in the morning.
