Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer (D) regressed Tuesday, wearing a mask again after the CDC issued new recommendations.
Whitmer lifted her mask order for fully vaccinated people in mid-May, but during a Detroit press conference today, was spotted sporting one.
Whitmer, who was fully vaccinated in June, left the door open to another mandate.
“I do not anticipate another pandemic order, not in the near future and maybe not ever,” Whitmer said, the Detroit Free Press reported.
“The fact of the matter is we now know a lot about this virus, we’ve got vaccines. The best way to stay safe is to get vaccinated. I’m really, strongly encouraging everyone to do just that.”
Whitmer said she wore a mask at the urging of Dr. Joneigh Khaldun, her chief medical adviser.

These draconian tactics have absolutely nothing to do with covid or vaccines, etc. It has everything to do with the Arizona Forensic Audit and the ensuing audits around the country. Masks and shutdowns will make suppressing the real news much easier to accomplish.

Just came down to L.A. to get my medication and every store is requiring a mask. The woman in line at the pharmacy was telling the clerk that her mother was vaccinated and tested positive for Covid-19-84. Wasn’t the vaccination supposed to fix that? Yeah right.
Giving WH staff a vaxx pass clearly did not go over well.
Do you really think the dems will get rid of the lockdowns and masks even if 100% of the population was vaccinated?
Vaccine or not, they want to keep the mask and lockdown mandates because that’s who they are.
Calling the Trump vaccine a failure is simply giving the left the ammo they need to go back to masks and lockdowns.
I am against a mandate to vaccinate and I am against a government mask mandate and lockdowns.
I also lost at least 5 people (not connected to one another) to Covid-19 and knew several others who also died from it. Not only is Covid real, if you get it and survive you will likely end up with clots in the lung or have some other ailments that last a long time after getting over it.
That said, it’s not the government’s business to force masks, lockdowns or vaccines on us.
Unlike Donald Trump, this president is opening the borders with his super-spreader ‘immigration’ policies and then blaming those Americans who chose against getting a vaccine for the increase of covid-19 cases.
Let’s stop blaming the vaccine and blame Joe Biden for the covid increase.

How so? Are you implying that because of the vaccines, the lockdowns and mask mandates went away and because the mask mandates and lockdowns went away the Covid cases increased?
Or are you claiming that the vaccines themselves are giving people Covid-19?
It appears to me that those getting the Delta or WTF variant have been the vaxxed.
