The White House is seeking $1 billion to help resettle Afghan personnel who worked with the U.S. military, according to multiple reports.
People familiar with the matter told Bloomberg News that the request was made last Friday. The money would be divided between the Defense Department and State Department, and $25 million would go to Health and Human Services’ Office of Refugee Resettlement.
The money would cover temporary shelter, resettlement, and other necessities.

You got it. Conservatives who appreciated Afgan (sp?) help will back this. And, the non-conservatives (i.e., commie) will skim it. That is the purpose of bills of this sort.
Why not use the money on something better, like helping small businesses recover from COVID-19. Matter of fact, do something better, don’t spend it!
Resettle them next to the Pentagon Brass’s DC Mansions... and liberal elite members of the press.
