Prominent activists Rev. Jesse Jackson and Rev. William Barber II have been arrested during a sit-in at Senator Kyrsten Sinema's office in Phoenix, according to fellow protesters.
Jackson and Barber took part in the protest on Monday with the full intent of being arrested, in order to draw attention to their demand to abolish the Senate filibuster, according to organizers.
Activist Erika Andiola, a former spokeswoman for Senator Bernie Sanders' 2016 presidential campaign, said on Twitter that at least 30 people had been arrested in the sit-in, including Jackson and Barber.

Jesse Jackson?
Was he pushing a walker?
Two Reverends Mr. Obviouses. Both hardcore, self-promoting religious shysters and leftists.
#2. Re was Jackson “pushing a walker”? No, just his con-artist Marxism, self-promoting “clown show and travelling protest ring”.
The same for Barber.
and when it switches power
guess who will be demanding the filibuster
Ole Jesse must be screaming for relevance now that history has passed him by.
60 years later, he still makes a good living off this sit-in thing.
We call Barber the Buffet Slayer. He weighs about 600 lbs. He has to take his own chair into restaurants so I wonder if he took it to the ‘sit in’. He’s the rotten POS that got voter ID blocked by a judge AFTER the people of NC voted for it. That’s why cheating is so bad in NC. Every time they get it cleared for an election the rotten dimocrats block it again. Dimocrats have prevented NC from showing an ID to vote for 9 years since it passed on a ballot.
Insurrection! Solitary confinement now!
This is in Maricopa county so it might be possible to leave them both in jail for a while. I can dream can’t I?
“The same for Barber”
Down here in NC we call him Barber the Buffet Buster. He played a pivotal role in the takedown of Pat McCrory, which IMHO was a dress rehearsal for their “Be Ungovernable” response to PDJT.
If Rev Barber was there, there must be a good all-you-can-eat place nearby.
They don’t call him the buffet-slayer for nothing.
Proof that Jesse Jackson is still alive.
I think that’s defined as insurrection.
