Alaska GOP gives Murkowski a thumbs down. Nationally, Republicans still give her campaign cash

Former President Donald Trump calls Sen. Lisa Murkowski “disloyal.” State party leaders want her to quit identifying herself as a Republican candidate.

But Murkowski’s campaign finance reports show outside Alaska, she still has a comfortable spot in the Republican fold.

Murkowski’s most recent report shows a pair of $5,000 contributions this spring from Bluegrass PAC. That’s a political action committee affiliated with the Senate’s top Republican, Minority Leader Mitch McConnell.

Murkowski has crossed Republicans on a host of issues, and McConnell had another Republican candidate in Alaska he could have supported: Kelly Tshibaka.

Tshibaka is pitching herself as the rightful Republican in the race. She points out that the Alaska Republican Party has already endorsed her.

“It’s actually a huge honor and unprecedented to have a primary candidate endorsed for the U.S. Senate race,” Tshibaka said. “So that functionally makes me the primary candidate.”

But the National Republican Senatorial Committee, the party campaign arm devoted to getting and keeping Republican senators in office, is supporting Murkowski, too.

“Yeah, absolutely,” McConnell said, when asked whether NRSC would support Murkowski despite Trump’s pledge to campaign against her.

The NRSC spent more than $300 million on 2020 races. It hasn’t contributed yet this year to Murkowski’s campaign. But an NRSC spokesman reaffirmed that the committee will support all Republican senators, including Murkowski, and specifically in her primary race.

The Alaskan people or the Alaska Republican party are just technicalities.

Lisa's REAL constituency (that she actually answers to) is the Ruling Oligarchy.

She already won a write-in campaign after losing the GOP primary in 2010. She surely has a back-up plan to get her name on the ballot if she loses the GOP primary next year, she won’t get caught flat-footed a second time, and there are enough Democrats, independents and moderate Republicans to reelect her.

I want to be wrong, but 2010 was a huge GOP red wave election and she stuck around, even sans her name actually appearing on the ballot.

Alaska still has RCV and RCV-enabled voting machines.

Murky ain’t going anywhere unless Deep State wants her gone.

Bush League Republicans are not going to give up their stranglehold on the GOP without a fight.

They want to be able to continue to assist the Democrats to a permanent majority.

This ain't 2010.

Murky got back in then through the combined votes of Dems and so-called moderate republicans.

Trump won Alaska with 53% of the vote. Not a single Trump voter is going to vote for Murky. Not a single one. She's done. There won't be enough RINO votes to put her over the edge this time.

I'm hoping the AZ audit gets hold of the Dominion machines and exposes the cheat algorithm before the MidTerms.

As far a RCV goes, Trump won Alaska by 53%. Not a single Trump voter is going to vote for Murky. Not a single one. There aren't enough RINOs for her to win RCV.

“Alaska GOP gives Murkowski a thumbs down. Nationally, Republicans still give her campaign cash”

“Nationally, Republicans still give her campaign cash”

Probably the same Republicans that voted for Biden because they didn’t like Trump’s tweets. Gee, I wonder how that has worked out?

The national Republicans should support the state’s party choice in the primary or at worst stay neutral.

This is a repeat press release from earlier this year, deliberately written to tie up McConnell as if he were backing the RINO (traitor ) Murkowski simply associating McConnell larger (older) NRSS Pac with two small 5,000.00 donations.

Political power, political money by press release. RINO politics by democrat press release.

True. There's little difference between the Bush League RINOs and the Socialist/Communist Democrats (e.g., Ilhan Omar, Uncle Bernie, BLM/Antifa, AOC, Aunt Elizabeth, etc.). RINOs claim they're slightly different than liberal Democrats but they are both pushing America in the same dead-end direction.

Liberal Democrat school boards across the U.S. are aggressively instituting critical race theory throughout the K-12 curricula. Liberal Dems call it the "equity program." Dems are geniuses at giving their destructive programs constructive-sounding names to fool the people. Remember the Great Welfare State? What's so "great" about it? Which part of it is actually "welfare?" The word "welfare" means "the health, happiness, and fortunes of a person or group." But according to the uneducated, violent BLM's constant, never-ending b*tching, they're the polar opposite of healthy, happy, and fortunate. So the only part of the liberal Democrats' half-century of the "Great Welfare State" that's actually true is the part that says "state." Hey, LBJ & liberal Democrats ... nice job! Morons.

The national Republicans want open borders and amnesty and need every R vote they can get for that insane policy.

How so? Joe Miller was a great candidate from what I recall. Former military, teaparty etc. He won the primary. Don’t remember anything about a major screw up.
