Well,
When you have an “EMERGENCY” and everyone is on fire having to take action immediately, you get things like this.
They rushed with the vaccine: hope that doesn’t have long term negative consequence.
They rushed in lock downs, requiring social distancing, closing restaurants, beaches, parks, pools, gyms, schools, stores... most has turned out to have been utter nonsense and didn’t help.
They rushed in these tests...
When you rush things, you get shity answers.
BUT when you create an EMERGENCY, you can sideline the skeptic, testing, legal reviews, public discourse... When it’s an “EMERGENCY” you can ram decisions down peoples throat and then later ask yourself, “was passing a Patriot Act really such a good idea?”
EVERYTHING is now an EMERGENCY.
Get used to it.
When the wolf has sheep to work with it's easy to create that situation.
