Vaccinated individuals comprise the majority of new coronavirus infections in Singapore, according to government data.
According to Reuters, vaccinated people made up three-quarters of the country’s coronavirus infections in the last month, although severe cases among the vaccinated have been limited:
While the data shows that vaccines are highly effective in preventing severe cases, it also underscores the risk that even those inoculated could be contagious, so that inoculation alone may not suffice to halt transmission.
Of Singapore’s 1,096 locally transmitted infections in the last 28 days, 484, or about 44%, were in fully vaccinated people, while 30% were partially vaccinated and just over 25% were unvaccinated, Thursday’s data showed.
“There is continuing evidence that vaccination helps to prevent serious disease when one gets infected,” the health ministry said in a statement, noting fully vaccinated people generally exhibit mild symptoms or none at all.
Singapore boasts a high vaccination rate, as 75 percent of the 5.7 million in the country have received the jab.
The Singapore Ministry of Health announced in early July that it would only count recipients of the American made Pfizer or Moderna mRNA vaccines as vaccinated for the purposes of national statistics. Vaccinated individuals who have contracted the coronavirus are presumably recipients of one of the American products.

Then the vaccines are doing what’s expected of them.
Imagine if the mild or a symptomatic cases weren’t vaccinated.
It would be a trip back into time…..to March 2020.
Absolute speculation.
Then the vaccines are doing what’s expected of them.
Lets you catch Everything
Many cases of covid in vaccinated people, serious or otherwise are being hidden. The few articles written on the subject are done using the Clinton method of double speak.
Vaccination rate is immaterial. What is the natural immunity rate? How many test positive for CoVID antibodies. THAT is the the important fact.
I’d say 99% of reported “facts” about all this are simply venomous spew from satan’s arse or American main stream media, if there’s any difference.
Imagine if the mild or a symptomatic cases weren’t vaccinated.
It would be a trip back into time…..to March 2020.

And of course, it has nothing to do with viruses become less deadly over time.

The “vaccines” are working. It is a cure for Wuhan flu hysteria, not a vaccine for the flu. Hysteria sufferers who get the vaccine overcome their hysteria and drop their precautions thus get the flu and help reach herd immunity. The success of the vaccinations is measured by the number of vaccinated who get the flu.

Sure, kid. March had nearly zero problems.

Re: Severe cases have been limited
That is good news - but, no context.
If most of the vaccinated-infected are under 60 and in good health, severe cases would have been limited naturally, with no vaccine at all.
All advanced countries are now making extraordinary efforts to protect the elderly and the infirm.
That tells me that the newly infected are now skewed towards younger and healthier victims.
Excellent read.
Thanks for posting it.
Yes, I hope the virus Covid-19 and it’s Variants do become less deadly or are becoming less deadly.
But like some in the article, it’s too soon to tell.
My concern is that possible this virus won’t behave as others throughout history have.
The reason, to me, is that Covid-19 is a result of altering. Gain of Function tweaking.
But time will tell. Let’s hope for the best.

Ok, so there is a fair bit of information packed into those few sentences but with two variables….the one variable is the efficacy in people who are only ‘half EGT’d’ and the other is in how seriously ill people were who actually did get sick. Without knowing that, it’s a case of comparing apples and oranges.
Regardless, if we only tabulate EGT’d (regardless of whether they are half or fully), the 75% of 5.7 million people gives a number of 4.28 million that are EGT’d… and of this group, my math tells me that 822 people became infected. Thus for the last 28 days, the ratio of EGT’d people who got sick was 822/4.28 million which gives 0.000192. By comparison, the number of non-EGT’d people who got sick was 274 and that was out of a total of 1.43 million and this gives a ratio of 274/1.43 million or 0.000192.
In other words, the EGT’d and the non-EGT’d have exactly the same ratio of being infected (over the preceding 28 days). Am I missing something beyond the two variables that I stated at the outset?
Umpossible. The talking points and the Chomo in Chief himself have declared this is a pandemic of the unvaccinated.
Singapore mainly uses Sinovac, the Chinese developed vaccine, which has been the least effective of the vaccines used.
This article states ......”the risk that even those inoculated could be contagious, so that inoculation alone may not suffice to halt transmission.”....
Bottom line is they STILL don’t know....and as I see it the worlds populations are their ‘testing’ arena of trial and error on all these shots being handed out.
That statistic says that the vaccines don't prevent cases.
I think we have similar stats from Israel.
Too bad our CDC doesn't keep such data. Gee whiz I wonder why not. /
