What impact does the presence of up to a million infected illegals that are/were housed and transported thru that state have on the current infections?
Not much, actually. Legal immigrants on a tourist visa coming into Texas to shop probably carry more virus than the fewer illegals.
Look, this virus is unstable. It’s not like smallpox. Smallpox reproduced in exactly the same form each time, which is largely why mankind is not extinct. Corona has its RNA strand copied very poorly, with variations in the copy. That’s why mutations/variants.
There will be more. One in a billion will be much, much worse. The problem is there are trillions and trillions of particles. One in a billion is not difficult when there are trillions and trillions.
It’s going to get much worse, and there is no rule of the universe that says it will ever get better.
Yea, when all the public officials announce that we should close the borders first, I will consider listening to what they have to say. Until then…meh.
I am right there with what you are saying - to say otherwise is akin to GASLIGHTING - breakouts of cases are associated with the resettlements of illegals in communities around the country. Those in charge are a disgrace to the nation — and we are paying them to protect us - that makes it all a very sad joke on us and the USA.
