Vaccinated individuals accounted for three-quarters of Singapore’s COVID-19 infections in the past four weeks, the latest numbers showing the potential for the disease — and in particular the highly contagious Delta variant — to spread even among those who’ve been inoculated against it, according to a report by Reuters on Friday.
About 44 percent of the 1,096 locally transmitted infections in the past 28 days in Singapore were among people who had been fully vaccinated and 30 percent were among those partially vaccinated. About 25 percent of cases were among unvaccinated individuals, according to the report.
Vaccinated individuals who tested positive for the coronavirus showed either mild symptoms or none at all, Singapore’s health ministry reported, according to Reuters.

The numbers seem to be all over the place, with “the vaccinated” representing a majority of “new cases” in some places and the “unvaccinated” representing a majority of “new cases” in other places, with no telling so far as to why the situation of new cases does not reflect similar proportions of “vaccinated” and “unvaccinated” in most places.
The CDC has stopped reporting that metric.
Why does every country have results the exact opposite of what the CDC says?
Do we know what vaccine Singapore was using? Was it one of the US vaccines, did they come up with their own, or did they use China’s?
Not that it matters, just curious.
The crap Chinese vaccine used in Singapore is not what is used in the United States.

They primarily use the Sinovac (China-made) vaccine there that has not been particularly effective against any strain to prevent infection.
But I’m sure the comments will conflate with the US vaccines as they always do. Narrative above all...facts are irrelevant and counterproductive to consider.

Vaccines do NOT create a shroud of glass around you to prevent future infection from the virus. If you are in close vicinity of an infected person (with or without symptoms) you will inhale the virus in your respiratory system.
Vaccine’s primary function is to prepare your immune system to fight the virus and prevail, thus preventing death in isolation ward of hospitals.
Vaccine makes body’s immune system familiar with protein signatures of virus so that body is better prepared when virus invades the body. If a vaccinated person is close to a covid infected person exuding large loads of virus, the virus will get into the respiratory system. Then depending on the immune capabilities the person could get infected with symptoms. Only difference is death will be less likely than an unvaxxed person with similar age and health status.
Note the term "Fully Vaccinated" or "Partially Vaccinated" instead of immune or with antibodies. "Fully Vaccinated" and "Partially Vaccinated" are marketing terms used for propaganda.
If the patients got COVID-19 after getting the shots, they clearly weren't vaccinated.
