Conservative radio host Larry Elder is leading the field of candidates running to remove California Gov. Gavin Newsom from office by way of a recall election scheduled to take place on Sept. 14, according to a new poll released Wednesday.
The Inside California Politics and Emerson College poll found California voters favored Elder by 10 points when asked which of the recall candidates they planned to support.
peaking with KRON-TV Wednesday evening, Elder said he announced his candidacy earlier this month, and has thus not been a candidate in the race to recall Newsom for long. Elder credited his public profile as a nationally syndicated radio host with his showing in the poll.

If Elder is the clear favorite, then I’ll switch from Cox to Elder.
That is all well and good but unless he is actually on the ballot, he will not be elected.
A 2am vote dump of 75,000 ballots should keep newsom in office.
Elder and his PR folks should quote Obama’s press in 2008 and tell Californians that only by electing Elder can they prove they’ve moved past their racism. LOL

I’m afraid I don’t know who Cox is - not Chris Cox, former congressman from OC?
He “leads by 10”, but is at 16% in the poll with everyone else in single digits and 53% undecided.
And there has be a 50% +1 vote to recall Newsom for this to even matter.

California patriots are not only trying to get Newsom out of the governor’s office, but also trying to keep him out of the Oval Office.
