Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R) says that Floridians should get the vaccine to protect against the coronavirus.
DeSantis told reporters in a press conference Wednesday that 95% of hospital admissions in Florida due to coronavirus complications were not either fully vaccinated or vaccinated at all, stating that ā[T]hese vaccines are saving lives. They are reducing mortality.ā
DeSantis also said that vaccinated people will not be hit with the current COVID-19 wave in Florida.

The answer is still NO!
But they shouldn't be forced to get the vaccine. And if you're young enough to not be done making babies I'd definitely hold off on getting the vaccine.
Please keep in mind that President DeSantis is playing the long game here.
This virus still has a 99-percent-plus survival rate and mostly afflicts the elderly and those who are already morbidly obese or in poor health.
This is the way it’s been since the start.

“Cases” are not deaths or hospitalizations. A guy could go to a doctor to get a pre-employment test and find out he has COVID, although he has no symptoms at all. That is counted as a “case.”
SOMETHING is driving this new campaign to ratchet up the fear by trying to re-scare us with stories we were reading 18 months ago, with just a couple of embellishments.

DeSantis is wrong about this but right about a great many other things.
I dislike Harvard Law grads in general but he may be our best hope for 2024. The fact that he’s being attacked by the MSM 24/7 tells me DeSantis is feared by liberals.
What is with all these Republicans suddenly jumping on the vaccination bandwagon? Hannity, McConnell, Scalise, DeSantis, and a hose of others? Bad poll numbers or something?

The data he quotes sounds counter to what is coming out of Israel. It does line up with what FOX and others are parroting, though.
Apparently the China Virus gained a unique way of attacking the body. (Almost as if it was engineered to gain the function) and that infecting function is what the so-called “vaccines” attempt to curtail by supposedly teaching the body how to recognize and oppose the infecting function in a way which it would not otherwise be able to do.
Now, if there is to be a different (conceivably more deadly) virus released which incorporates that infecting function, then conceivably the so-called “vaccines” would help America weather that next attack...er...the next “pandemic”.
That’s the best I can come up with for a reason why.

What gets me is all the fatsos who suddenly become “muh body is a temple” when it comes to vaccines. No problem guzzling junk food at Disney or whatever as they motor around on their scooty puffs. Yeah it’s the vax that’s going to kill you not the fries and inability to take a flight of stairs. Your precious health. I know a dependapotamus type like that and of course she got hit hard by covid and was laying in bed suffering like a diseased sow because she could barely breathe to begin with. Then she wanted her physically fit vaxxed husband to wait on her hand on foot. He was like F it I’m going camping with the guys. She said “What are you worried about you got the vaccine?” Exactly dumbass.
Maybe it just might be because the vaccines are effective. Do you seriously think DeSantis, Hannity et al have now gone to the dark side? Follow the science, not the politics.
Actually, among ordinary people, far more Democrats remain unvaccinated than Republicans.
