President Joe Biden said children under 12 and all unvaccinated students will have to wear masks in school when the Centers for Disease Control issues new guidance as he urged people to get vaccinated on Wednesday evening during a CNN town hall.
He said tackling misinformation online was one of his top priorities and said he welcomed the way vaccine skeptics on Fox News had made a U-turn in recent days.
The event, hosted by Don Lemon, was held in a part of Cincinnati that voted heavily for former President Trump, giving Biden a chance to reach across the country's divisions and speak directly to voters.

No kids are going to get forced to put on masks in any red state. No family of mine is doing it.

Since when does guidance by any federal agency equal law? Schools are still free to reject that guidance.

In CA, if a district disobeys the CDPH mandates the county will piggyback on those mandates and visit those schools and threaten to “shut them down.” For both private and public K-12. The counties will be the enforcers. Some counties will look the other way. I watched all of this up close last year. The teachers unions (some stronger than others) and county health directors call the shots. Parents have little say other than trying to recall the school board (which are in the pockets of the unions).
After, he immediately took to Twitter to promote the term "birthing persons" and signed off with a smiley face and the new pregnant man emojie.
What would he know about altar calls? I didn’t think Catholics did those.
Where was that, a small movie theater?
This was an invitation only event so he had a friendly audience. As for a come to the altar moment, when will he and his administration have one regarding the open border, with potential super spreaders coming across by the hundreds of thousands with no screening and no inoculations? It won’t be just Covid they bring, either.
