The Biden administration is reportedly weighing whether to formally urge vaccinated Americans to once again mask up as the country experiences an increase in the number of COVID-19 delta variant cases.
White House aides are in talks with officials at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) about proposed messaging to the public, the Washington Post reported.
People familiar with the discussions told the Post that the White House is hesitant to implement policies that would explicitly mandate people show proof of their vaccination status. One idea reportedly thrown around was to ask Americans to wear masks when vaccinated and unvaccinated people not to congregate in crowded places.

Masks. Do. Not. Work.
At least not in the manner which is claimed for that specific use. Masks are no more effective than a transparent face shield in preventing droplets or aerosols of the coronavirus (or any OTHER pathogen) from being breathed in, and worse, they serve as an enclosure to retain and incubate these same pathogens in the nose and face area, being breathed and rebreathed, and thus concentrating in the nasal linings and the lung tissue, which is where most of the mischief takes place. That, and the fact that only a limited amount of oxygen is taken in with each breath, the carbon dioxide circulating in the blood is NOT exchanged out in the lungs, and a state of near-asphyxiation sets in, especially after some exertion or moderate exercise.
But as a training and virtue signaling device, they work almost perfectly. Obedience is rewarded, defiance is treated as a felony.
No more talk about hospitalizations and deaths.
Now it’s just *cases*.
More goalpost moving. A subtle little change in wording that most people, in their terror and paranoia about the virus, will not even notice. They’ll just see/hear the words *Covid* and *increasing* and it’s Chicken Little time.

By providing a persistent, powerful visual reminder that America is a "sick" country and that Americans -- especially millions of former American "men" who remain weak and afraid, this vile, this nasty, this unhealthy mandated masking absolutely must continue ... dismissing the physical harm and mental anquish forced masking, deliberately imposed by the Democrat/communist/Left including celebrity-enraptured "medical experts" who do little more than lie and lie then lie some more about most things covid, causes to healthy people and especially to children, and ignoring the physical reality that masks are completely, absolutely, 100 percent ineffective in stopping transmission of a respiratory virus ... not just "theoretically" ineffective, but totally ineffective as the results of a phenomenally long 18 months of use clearly show.
So the masking zealots will -- they must -- continue to spread the outright lie that masks, even more than the experimental "vaccines", are what will "protect" us -- what will literally, in their tyrannical mindset, save us -- from the communist chinese evil spirit, covid.

They should be careful what they wish for. A handful of Americans defeated the greatest military of its time and they can do it again. We won’t start anything but we will damn sure finish it. Yes there is a small segment of the woke military that would joyfully kill their brothers and sisters but the majority would walk away.
I agree with you that there must be some manipulation of numbers going on, in many places.
You are right that people would NOT be getting tested, if they are not sick. I think the “testing” numbers are so loosely tracked, that any local health dept “official” can change them at will. JMHO
