Speaker Nancy Pelosi on Wednesday rejected two of House GOP Leader Kevin McCarthy's picks for the House committee investigating the January 6th MAGA riot in the Capitol, asking him to name two other lawmakers to the panel.
In response, McCarthy pulled all five Republican lawmakers he appointed to the panel, slamming the speaker for 'an egregious abuse of power.'
Pelosi objected to the inclusion of Republican Congressmen Jim Banks and Jim Jordan, both strong allies of former President Donald Trump. Both men voted to challenge certification of President Joe Biden's election victory and have promoted the 'big lie' - the false argument that Trump actually won in 2020 and was the victim of election fraud.

Pelosi said she wanted to preserve the “Integrity” of the investigation. She does not know the meaning of that word.

Democrat lawmakers flee Texas to avoid the inevitable. Let’s not do that, as it is both stupid and futile. Yet, how do you resist this illegitimate fraudulent power grab by Nancy Pelousy? Find the right monkey wrench, and give it a hurl, right in her face! This idiotic “commission” will of course be a ridiculous and embarrassing fiasco for the “Party of Fraud”, regardless.
This is the right move. There should not be even one Republican on the investigative committee. Let the Liberals do it all by themselves.

So many agree with Nancy Pelosi...IGNORE THE FACTS.
More and more everyday I think Nancy Pelosi is behind everything we’ve gone through in the past year and a half. Everything.
RussiaRussiaRussia didn’t work, and she was completely embarrassed and mouth-foamingly irate that impeachment failed.
When she ripped up the State of the Union speech, there was raging anger in her eyes.
She’s a rich, spoiled-from-birth banshee on her last legs and she seems quite content to leave nothing but scorched earth behind her.
The only way for Pelosi to be removed from office is either expulsion by the House, 2/3rds majority required, her resignation, her death, or her losing an election. There is no impeachment or 25th Amendment method available.
Of course they would, if Pelousy is picking what representatives sholuld be there is a sham.
According to Pelousy, it’s “bipartisan” already, because Liz Shamey is on the committee.

It's the ONLY play here. Meadows should have refused to name any participants in the first place.
Pelosi's partisan kangaroo court will go down the same road her two impeachments did – nothing will come of this, either.
Integrity to Nancy means only falsely certifying Obama to Hawaii as a natural born citizen and fooling the other 49 states by dropping that language.

If the Republicans don’t appoint anyone then the whole thing becomes even more of a scam since it will be totally partisan.
Cheney can say what she wants but even she knows speaking out against Trump with will lessen her almost non existent chances at being re elected even more.
