People’s pretend inflation can be as high as they pretend it is. “OMG, milk is so high!”
What about in 2 years? 5 years?
Less than a year for the big Inflation hit which has already started. The time between when the money is printed up and when the Market reflects it can be as long as 2 years . Any inflation predictions beyond that depend on the whim of the Fed.
