Georgia's Speaker of the House David Ralston is demanding an investigation to "determine if any irregularities or willful fraud occurred" in the state's largest metropolis last November, saying recent revelations about problems with vote counting in Fulton County merit an independent probe.
Ralston sent a letter late last week to Fulton County election officials requesting that the Georgia Bureau of Investigation be allowed to conduct the investigation.
The request comes after Just the News reported last month that an independent observer for Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger noted two dozen pages of irregularities in the Atlanta vote counting center last Nov. 3, including double scanning of ballots, insecure transportation of ballots and possible voter privacy violations.
Raffensperger told Just the News he believes the problems in Fulton County are so extensive that the state should take over running elections in the Atlanta area.
Separately, a watchdog group called VoterGA, which won court access to absentee ballot data, said last week its review found that Fulton County's hand count audit of the November election was riddled with "massive errors and provable fraud."
Ralston said the recent reports of problems require a "thorough examination and explanation."
"Given the seriousness of this situation and the possible repercussions for our state and nation, it is time we have an independent investigation — once and for all — of the way in which Fulton County conducted, counted and audited the November 2020 Presidential Election," he wrote in his letter. "To that end, it is my urgent recommendation that your office request that the Georgia Bureau of Investigation conduct its own, independent forensic investigation into the November 2020 Presidential Election in Fulton County.

Ralston is as crooked as they come.
Nothing but a gigantic CYA operation for all parties concerned.
Sadly, guys like Ralston will not be challenged and will easily be re-elected. This is nothing but an attempt to appease the masses.
If I’m not mistaken, the original draft of the states new election law, completely prohibited mail in voting and drop boxes, and Ralston was one of the ones that had it pulled from the bill.

And this is the problem in a nutshell. The people who think there was a problem with the election are asking for it to be audited. And because irregularities have already been found in Maricopa County in large numbers, alone, and there is reason to believe in other already questioned location, why is there such a pushback against just auditing. No one is being blamed for anything, no one is being arrested...yet. No one has been found guilty of anything.
Yet to prove their are no questions, which the libs are saying are not there without looking and just standing up to standards the people expect, they are fighting tooth and nail to scuttle any audit, not to protect the process.
If is was perfect, it could be proven. So, prove it. Or fail in the attempts of their providing truth to the people. It’s the peoples’ government. Do your job, the same job that was done in Florida in 2000. A number of recounts were done there. And no one had anything to hide so they were accomplished. I guess it depends on which party is questioning the vote.

The GBI hasn’t found anything since the election, and they won’t find anything now. They, like the FBI, are simply a white washing agency that protects high office holders. Cyber Ninjas knows how to do an audit.

I have to tell you this makes me furious.
I called and emailed David Ralston dozens of times in November and December with every piece of news and data about GA fraud. Many others did as well. Not only did he ignore this, he stripped Beach, Ligon and others of their committee asssignments for trying to get an investigation back then.
Anything he says now is pure CYA.
The GBI reported to the SOS in their investigation earlier. They said that any claims of fraud had to be directed to the SOS. So basically, what they saw was what Raffensperger wanted them to see.
So, of course they didn’t find anything.
Yeah they are trying to save their butts. Looking for a scapegoat. Lower levels will be blamed but will get no real charges. They will be given a out.

Not sure either party is worth saving but the dems deserve expulsion from the country. Or worse.
So, they all need to be tried for their crimes. Instead they will snake out of this with nothing.
