The censorship of conservative voices on social media, headlined by the Twitter and Facebook ban of former President Donald Trump, is pushing Republicans further away from the sites.
In new Fabrizio, Lee & Associates polling provided to Secrets, just 14% of Republicans said they have a favorable view of Twitter, and 22% said so of Facebook.
“GOP voters are sick and tired of the big social media companies,” said pollster Tony Fabrizio in his analysis.
But, he added, it’s not an anti-internet thing. There is, Fabrizo said, much more approval by Republicans of other Big Tech companies, such as Amazon, Google, and Apple.
The Republican disapproval of Facebook and Twitter, he added, open the door to new conservative-supportive social sites such as Parler and GETTR to surge.
GETTR founder Jason Miller, a former spokesman for Trump, said the site has grow faster than Twitter and Facebook and would really surge if Trump joins.

I signed up on Gettr at the very beginning. And have a (lot) more followers there than Twitter.
I have watched and followed a number of Trumps there.
One I actually believe WAS Trump. But it was later gone. I really think it was him.
He should come back. :)

The deranged Leftists are beginning to join Gab as well. I suppose they've figured out their poison is not getting to the right targets anymore. I just block them since there are so few there.

Speaking of Gab, we use and trust Gab’s browser, “Dissenter”, and love it. No ads, private, free.
As far as true social media, we don’t do any, unless FR is considered social media.
Only do twitter really. I Like it and find it helpful to network etc. I stay out of politics on it though because it’s very liberal. Hard to resist...
I cannot stand Facebook/Insta. No thanks even though they’re huge and popular (for some reason).
Asked one of followers if I should join other social networks and he told me if you want to build any kind of audience on Facebook you have to pay for advertising on there which I refuse to do...

Just an FYI: I tried to register with 2 different gmail accounts and the confirmation code was blocked for both. I wonder if yahoo, msn, etc., does the same? Use ProtonMail if you have that problem.
They never asked me for an email?!
Could be a problem if you forget your pass so make sure you make a note of it
I really do like the look of it though very quick and virtually the same as twitter. Better than Parler
