True. Neither side of this debate has done very well, just focusing on the death rate. The possibility of long-term co-morbidities, if widely known, would wipe away a perceived need for totalitarian measures, as most people would be taking precautions on their own.

I mean, who wouldn’t consider dying from COVID, rather than live with COPD, kidney failure, a stroke and/or other things that could drastically reduce their quality of life and/or drastically shorten their life expectancy?
