In a normal place, you’d just set up massive roadblocks....street after street, from 9 PM on (treat everyone like it was Baghdad). You’d start curfew action. Then you’d drag in the city council and agree on complete prosecution....20-year sentences and if judges/prosecutors weren’t capable of handling it...you’d just fire them.
Those people do not help the cabal’s agenda, they will be ignored and faceless. They are still children of God.

I for one do not see any downside with this other than the shooters need more range time. If you think about it, they should be left alone, it’s a self fulfilling solution, just keeping the innocent out of the mix is the challenge.
The democrats in charge will just take guns from the honest, non-violent citizens while leaving them in the hands of the violent criminals.
They want this to reach crisis proportions so they can “justify” taking guns from the good people.

Frankly, the deaths-to-shootings in these reports always appear shockingly low, to me. Obviously, massive sums are spent to patch people up to go out and shoot someone else.

If you are out after curfew, and they do a search of the car to find a gun....which is reported stolen, you might need extended jail to correct your behavior.
I don’t believe treating everyone like they are untouchable will work any longer in this region.

The Chicago police developed a profile of the murder victims. It was amazing information...so good, if fact, that they could predict with good accuracy WHO was going to be murdered. I have only seen one article on this astonishing tool...and, as I describe it you’ll see that the tool goes against the political narrative that these are ordinary, honest Chicago citizens being murdered. They aren’t.
Certainly, on occasions, ordinary citizens are hurt. Probably a lot of them. But the bulk of those injured and those killed are criminals. They are mostly not white. Gang membership in this elite cadre is very high. Now, on to predicting who will be murdered. This is from memory and so may not be a complete list. For every question that is a yes, the person gets a point. For the numbers mentioned, that person gets additional points. Were you arrested while of for committing a violent crime? You get a point. Were there more people arrested with you or for the same crime? A point for each additional person. Are you involved in the drug trade? How many times have you been arrested total? (Point for each.) I know there were more questions, but I can’t recall them.
What did the police do with this information? They set up a program to call and notifiy potential corpses in advance of being corpses that their score had reached a point where the majority of corpses were when they achieved corpse status. I could find not follow-up article when I last searched to see how successful this program was. My guess is it was so unsuccessful that they cancelled.
You have to understand the psychology of people living the lifestyle of being pre-corpses. It’s like the old saying, “To a hammer, the entire world looks like a nail.” To the gangsta emersed in the Chicago gang culture, the entire world looks like the other side’s gang. Absolutely, a lot of “uninvolved” people are shot. But they chose to live among and associate with the gang culture. Either they use its services…drugs, sex, loans, or they live in the same buildings knowing who the neighbors are.
The reasons this problem hasn’t been solved are, the politicians and the media are trying to make this problem a criticism of the dominant culture, which has no relation to the problem at all. Most of the people are *cough, choke* “of color” and the politicians and the media don’t care about them except for votes and clicks, respectively. And, in the liberal mind, all cultures are equal…meaning no effort can be made to change this culture to one of non-violence. Also, I’m guessing that the gang culture generates quite a bit of revenue for someone, and that someone doesn’t want the revenue to go away. Thus they support a political party that guarantees the gang culture continues.
Is there such a thing for Chicago? Waste of money if there was. I think I read a headline last week that the mayor, Lori Light-in-Brains, was out soliciting companies to move to Chicago. Good luck with that.
In my seven and a half decades on earth, I have never traveled to Chicago, nor have I ever had the inclination or urge to do so. What's the attraction?
I traveled to Farmington Hills, Michigan in the early 90s for a mortgage bankers convention. We were warned in no uncertain terms to not go into Detroit because it was too dangerous.
Same thing with a 4-day seminar held in Oakland, CA in the 90s. We were confined to the hotel proper and bus trips with security guards to restaurants to eat out because of the danger of getting shot on the streets.
What do all of these cities have in common? They are democRATic controlled, liberal shitholes.

Read yesterday here at FR that Chicago is averaging a little under 4 shooting deaths PER DAY this year. That’s roughly 1350 to 1400 deaths a year. Anybody remember the “good old days” when we were all astounded at 500 to 600 a year? Sounds like it’s open season on humans.
