The constant Democratic existential crises
Spectator World ^ | July 16, 2021 | Grace Curley

The Democratic party boasts so many heroes, it’s sometimes hard to keep up. Recently, Rep. Andy Kim revealed that he will be donating his J. Crew wool suit to the Smithsonian Institute. An AP photographer captured the congressman in the Rotunda picking up some trash after the January 6 riots.

‘So I found a roll of trash bags, got down on my knees, and just started trying to clean up a place I love.’ This kind of courage begs the question — can an Emmy award be far behind? After all, not all heroes wear capes, but one definitely wore a cobalt blue suit.

Such acts of valor above and beyond the call of duty are nothing new in the modern Democratic party.

The Democrat’s don’t have a monopoly on the extremist doomsday thing, but theirs is the version that has taken over our media. If you are tired of the depressing parade of “heroes” like that bunch of beer swilling Texas Democrats staging a publicity stunt, this article is for you. Enjoy!

The war was never meant to be won. It was meant to be continuous.

The problem is that the Democrats can do so much damage by the 2022 elections that the country, or at the very least the economy, cannot be salvaged.

I disagree, it is meant as a giant country-wide filibuster to prevent real news about actual issues from getting through to Americans. For example, public education has clearly failed, and we need to fire the people in charge because they spend multiples of other countries per student outlays and yet we have lukewarm standardized test scores.

The purpose of this nonsense is to keep us from organizing against the people who are effing everything up.

The Democrat party and all who hold it dear are existential American enemies.

Mother, father, brother, sister, son, daughter, aunt, uncle, cousin, niece, nephew, Pastor, teacher, Boss, employee, et al are all democrats destroying America.

I think most of those people are like computers with malicious code that causes them to become the human equivalent of a DDoS attack.

Failure to act is allowing America to be destroyed. Such rationalization condones inaction and is contributory to the destruction

PROVE ME WRONG:
Most democRat libreal ‘Intellectuals cannot operate at room temperature.’ There always has to be a crisis–some terrible reason why their superior wisdom and virtue must be imposed on the unthinking masses. It doesn’t matter what the crisis is. A hundred years ago it was eugenics. At the time of the first Earth Day a generation ago, the big scare was global cooling, a big ice age. They go from one to the other. It meets their psychological needs and gives them a reason for exercising their power.”

I guess that Pelosi and Schumer were to big to fit in the trash bag...I saw them both on the news a few minutes ago.

The doomsday thing is a proven way to get everyday people to do horrible things, but I also feel as though our news is functioning as a screen for the fact that whole henhouses of eggs are being broken to try to bring even one omelette to a successful conclusion.

Frankly, in my opinion, the difference between a Rep. James Anthony Traficant Jr. and Pelosi snd Schumer is that the latter two are better at it.

The best possible outcome from the constant Democratic existential crises would be for the Democrat Party to cease to exist.

“James Anthony Traficant Jr.”

Haven’t heard that name in a while...thank God he’s no longer with us in more ways than one. It would be nice to see Pelosi and Schumer leave Congress under similar circumstances.

This MAY qualify him to become a garbage collector.

Which is just another way of restating Orwell’s point that “The war was never meant to be won. It was meant to be continuous.” You call it a filibuster...which is just a person continuously talking, never allowing a vote. Orwell called it a war, that was never going to be on.

Same thing, really. So, in fact, you agreed with me.
