Kevin McCarthy Launches House GOP Advisory Team on Cuba

House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy on Thursday announced he is launching an advisory team on Cuba to advise House Republicans on the “ongoing freedom protests and government atrocities in Cuba.”

According to a press release, the team will help develop policies to guarantee the United States “stands in solidarity with the Cuban freedom movement, and educate the American people on the tyranny of the communist regime in Havana.”

Feckless RINOs can't educate or think for themselves. They need to spend money on an advisory team to do their thinking and to blame if they are wrong. How about trying the following: don't spend a dime on Cuba. Increase sanctions on Cuba and put pressure on our so-called allies to do the same. Do that with a provision that the sanctions will be removed when Cuba has free and fair elections and a government that protects the rights of the people.

the Cuban people need to fight this one themselves. They need to spill their own blood and sacrafice for their freedom. Freedom cannot be delivered to a people on a sliver platter.

He doesn’t have to. The Jan 6th trespassers have lawyers for that.

NPR has a list of “insurrectionists” at their site. Most of them are pleading “not guilty.”

Kevin and crew kept their mouth shut when China beat down the HK protesters. That's life. But, don't import more people who never assimilate, and constantly march around as Cubans or latinx or some other group. America hasn't gotten better by more imports.
