Due no doubt to a remarkable financial acumen that allowed him to stretch a career government official’s salary to astounding lengths, a luxurious retirement on the Delaware shore worthy of any top-tier Goldman Sachs executive beckoned to former vice-president Joe Biden in 2019. But, attractive as it must have seemed, he declined to heed the call. As he saw it, an appointment with destiny awaited him, and it needed to be kept. Polls showed Biden as the only Democrat with a realistic chance of beating Donald Trump, so despite having lost two prior attempts at the nomination, and cognitive decline so apparent his deficiencies were painfully on display even during the most closely controlled of public appearances, he and those advising him viewed 2020 as his moment.
But there was a time-bomb quietly ticking away in Biden’s GHQ, and how much damage it would do upon detonation largely depended upon the success of this third presidential quest. His media sycophants employed their best suppressive talents to delay the explosion until after his election, but now that Joe has reached the pinnacle of his political career, it appears they can no longer prevent it from finally blowing.
Had Biden stayed safely tucked away in Delaware, at worst this scandal would have made for a fairly interesting article in Vanity Fair. But now it’s a problem that threatens the highest reaches of the U.S. government.
As the murky depths of Hunter Biden’s bizarrely “discarded” laptop are finally plumbed and his father’s clear complicity in corrupt dealings becomes more apparent, it will finally dawn on most halfway intelligent people just how badly they were misled and how a little bit of truth parceled out at a few key moments could easily have spared us the unpleasantness that awaits.

I don’t see how this exposes Biden for the crook that he is. You have to have a motive investigative force; instead we end up with some farce like the FBI telling Hillary to go through her 60,000 emails and determine which are relevant and need to be handed over. No, we will see something substantive from John Durham before any significant move is made to investigate the Bidens. Don’t spend your time waiting to retire for either event to happen.
I don’t think Barr was trying to insulate the DOJ from impeachment proceedings. He’s just a good faker in the Deep State.

Just about everyone in D.C. other than Donald Trump did their best to cover for Joe Biden -- and for one simple reason: Biden personified the way our corrupt government works from top to bottom.

He gives barr far too much credit. Barr held fire because he’s an inside the beltway boy. He was waiting to see which way the wind blew.

Barr is the single person most responsible for the condition we’re in. He covered up every dirty fact about the multiple DS coups that we’re going on during his watch. When he could no longer bury the felonies by pooh poohing them, he rat holed them out to Uniparty Podunk US attorneys so they could properly bury them. Barr made sure no federal official would get in the way of the actual election night fraud. He then buried all evidence of the fraud and his fingerprints all over it until the new regime was installed. All of this was preplanned and coordinated with his DS Uniparty fellow travelers. Barr, the man who destroyed Trump, MAGA and our constitution, may he burn in hell.
Right on target - Biden is similar to GW Bush in that he can be easily manipulated by Deep Staters anxious to protect their privilege at the expense of American working people. I’m not sure who the manipulators are for Biden but for Bush it was Dick Cheney and the neocons, anxious for war but not anxious to ever fight in one, looking to make a lot of money off the Iraq and Afghanistan craziness, and putting GW forth as the simpering boob defending “his” policies by shoveling out bromides about the locals thirsting for freedom, demanding democracy and other fatuous nonsense when it came to the majority of people in these nations.
Despite the criticism levelled at Barr — some of it deserved — I don’t see him as a Deep State plant intent only on thwarting Trump.

Mr. Zuckerbrod needs to place the bong on the table and just back away. The whole screed is a fantasy about how Barr, the DOJ, and FBI are really “do gooders” just caught up in some politics. Edward needs to seek a new career, something like coding or ditch digging, something he’s better suited for.

This deep state fool actually finds a way to blame Trump for Barr not doing his job. Sessions and Barr are two of the worst all-time American traitors. The left knew attorney general was the one person they had to have in their pocket for their plans not to go awry.

Hunter Biden laptop demonstrates the Joe Biden KNEW what was going on, and PROFITED from his son. Joe Biden also performed TAX EVASION (having his son pay his bills) to avoid being linked to the BRIBERY of his public office acts.
You can’t can try to make that look good. The media can bury it, Bill Barr could try to withhold that, but that’s exactly what it is. Barr was dirty, plain and simple, and he assisted in the destruction of the Republic. He will have that blood on his hands and weight on whatever conscious he has. The ‘extreme speech’ of Trump is no excuse.
Thanks to people like Bill Barr, we DO NOT have a Constitutional Republic anymore. We shouldn’t be shocked by voter fraud, DOJ corruption, CIA and NSA spying, or IRS weaponized anymore. We now live in Fascist state.
What the American people really need now, to prevent chaos, is an understanding of who is above the law and who is not. We need to know what our masters want, so we no longer offend them with our belief in a Constitution that no longer exists.
The simple fact that too few acknowledge is that speaking the truth makes one an extremist.
