One of three counties targeted by a Pennsylvania state lawmaker for an Arizona-style “forensic investigation” of the state’s 2020 presidential election sought by former President Donald Trump will not allow third-party access to its voting machines.
The three commissioners in rural Republican-controlled Tioga County announced the decision Tuesday, six days after receiving a sweeping, five-page request from Republican state Sen. Doug Mastriano for access to documents, information and equipment.
The county’s solicitor, Christopher Gabriel, said Wednesday that the thrust of Mastriano’s request — under the threat of a subpoena — involves access to Tioga County’s voting machines.
That could mean losing those machines, Gabriel said. …

Those Republicans sure do fight hard when they need to cover something up.
Almost as if they’re Democrat spies…

Please ping me with articles of interest.
FReepmail me to be added to the list.
Why audit Tioga county? Shouldn’t the audit be focused on Philadelphia, Delaware, and Allegheny counties?
Doesn’t the legislature control this, not the county?
We know what they are hiding.
Those are the machines you want.
Wonder if PA had an eDevice CellGo (cellular 3G internet modem dongle, aee link below) on a Dominion machine in each precinct like MI did.

MI’s contract with Dominion, showing CellGo as part of the package, see page 127:

I don’t think these democrats understand the concept of the, “Poker Face.”
The reaction of the county solicitor said enough, playing up fear of losing the machines while claiming they’re needed to do the next election.
The HilLIARy model hammer and the bottles of Bleach-Bit have not arrived yet, I guess
Trump won the highest percentage of any presidential candidate in Tioga County since 1956.
He had nearly a full percentage point improvement over his 2016 performance.
After which they shall wipe them, like with a cloth . . .
They don’t want to give up the audit to a third party.
They instead want to perform the audit themselves and expect us to take their word it.
Just like in Georgia, where the cheaters were allowed to audit themselves and produce thousands of bogus results.
That’s what they call an audit.
Here we go again..
Bush league chamber of commerce worshipping republiCANT’S are going to throw every wrench they have into the works...
We see you...
I’m sure if someone broke in and stole the machines, it would just be a misdemeanor and no charges brought by the DA.
I’ve had a high opinion of Mastriano in the past, but this seems like an avoidable misstep on his part. Tioga county should have been a no brainer “yeah, let’s go along with this” choice, and it should have been coordinated and in process before the request was formally made.
There are plenty of republican party officials who are just as eager to see the status quo continue in Harrisburg as the Dems are. The graft, patronage jobs, contract awards, and earmarks have a way of keeping people from wanting to shake the tree too much.
Might be useful to know that the county solicitor donated twice to Tom Wolf’s campaigns.
