The popular SMS (text) app, "WhatsApp" brags about its "end-to-end encryption." If this is true, will "WhatsApp" now hand over its encryption keys to the Biden administration's KGB/Stasi/Gestapo/NSA/FBI?

Along this line of everyone in government knowing what we say and do, is a question.
Two of our younger DNA relatives are in fairly high level management of their corporations.
Both companies have gone to Apple Smart Phones, supposedly, because even the feds can’t crack the Apple codes.
This was not an attempt to by pass the feds, it was to keep corporate knowledge/secrets out of the hands of competition and other bad people.
Is this true about not cracking the Apple codes?

My wife is a big time texter with siblings, sibling in laws, our adult children, grand kids, cousins, nephews, nieces and long time friends and new friends. If she doesn’t text, she uses our basically free phone lines.
For the last 2-3 months, she has discussed how things that she discussed verbally on her smart phone or on line, often show up on her phone with ads which seem to be triggered by both her verbal comments and/or texting.

I had thought about getting an IPhone, but I thought I read somewhere that Apple was providing some data to China...that may be wrong based on what your relatives say...so I didn’t keep following the IPhone news...
From what I read, it seems that perhaps the phone carriers may be enlisted to “assist” in this “endeavor”...Dunno if they can bypass security provided by Apple.

Nothing is private on the internet unless you are a spammer or crooked hacker from Russia etc. Then rarely is anything tracked or prosecuted by authorities.
When communications went from analog to digital is when the tracking of our voice and messages became much more feasible for authorities.
Can you even imagine the fallout if the FCC had told the Bell System to start monitoring for speech that was deemed anti vaccine or even anti-government ie Biden, or even hate speech? We’ve allowed ourselves to be conditioned to accept what would have been unacceptable in 1984.
This all further supports Trump’s law suit against big tech. Government and government actors asking/demanding big tech to do what they can not constitutionally do.
The over-reach monitoring and censorship, and social credit scores have to begin somewhere. The Dems know their ends, and the means by which they get their is not that important to them and their handlers.
