Conor McGregor underwent successful surgery on his leg on Sunday and shared an update on his status a day after suffering the gruesome injury at UFC 264 against Dustin Poirier.
McGregor and his agent Audie A. Attar, of Paradigm Sports, released statements on Twitter.
"Just out of the surgery room guys! Surgery went excellent! Feeling tremendous! 6 weeks on crutch and we build back! Let’s go! God bless," McGregor tweeted.

Dang. I have avoided the video just so I wouldn’t see that folded ankle. Ugh!
Say what you will, if Conor McGregor didn’t suffer serious injury to his leg other that the broken bones he will recover faster that if he has seriously damaged the ankle joint. If he didn’t damage any nerves, tendons, or muscles he could recover fully.
“I’ve had worse!”
There have been several of these injuries in recent UFC history. Thankfully none of them have compounded. The only compound fracture I’m aware of was Jon Jones little toe a few years back.
Praying for you Conor.
Maybe next time he’ll think twice about mocking God before he steps in the ring.
He’s made enough money. Time to heal and retire from fighting.
Start a Distillery and sell Whiskey.
Conor mocked God?
Knew had been out of line with the threat of death against his opponent but never heard anything like that.
“Feeling tremendous! “
I’ll bet.
“He’s made enough money. Time to heal and retire from fighting.”
He could probably scrape through, if he had to retire now.
From Wikipedia: McGregor was ranked as the world’s highest paid athlete by Forbes in 2021, earning a reported $180 million.
But the guy seems to like fighting...
He’s a jerk. 2:20 is where he starts to cross the line.

He’s a nut, but pretty damn tough. He handled this better than Ronald Acuna Jr. did for tearing his ACL the other night. Cried a gallon of tears on the field.
“Feeling tremendous! “
‘I’ll bet.’
Morphine will do that.
That had to hurt.........
It’s just noise and this is from 2016. He’s squawking is all.
At least the TV networks have footage to replace Joe Theisman’s gruesome injury.
Pun intended 😈
