Not in my house. I know how many times I get up to pee. I don’t need google’s help
Nothing creepy about this at all.
Not one little thing.

It’s been a long time since there’s been any interesting bedroom movements in my house.
I believe this is in the same vein. This evening I was checking a bank account. There was a charge from Walmart that I did not recall.
Going to Walmart’s website, which I rarely use, I logged in and there were purchases that were not made online, but in the store.
Walmart must track this from the debit card used.
Jim, do you have any knowledge on this?
WTH?
This is also why I no longer wear a Fitbit or other electronic fitness device.
Smartphone is bad enough.
Yeah….just shoot your radar at my head.
The lawyers must have come up with this.
It appears from the article that this would be the development of a new device you would purchase specifically for this purpose.
Why anyone would want Amazon tracking them like this is beyond me.
Is this connected with having an Echo or something similar in the house?
The article is short on information.
Je ne comprend pas.
Couple this with the “Butthole Cam”
“The collected toilet data is stored in a cloud-based system for doctors to access later.”

Big tech is pushing the pendulum really far. The swing back is not going to go well for them.
I refuse to have any monitoring devices in my home, which somewhat retards my tech ability, (so what).
But what I don’t understand is does the user/chump have to opt in? Can they (theoretically) opt out?
I’ve never been able to discern that from the articles I’ve read.
The 1950s: We shouldn’t talk on the phone, who knows who might be listening.
The 2010s plus: hey, espionage devise, when is the next Avengers showing at the cineplex?
You may laugh but I send my smart phone to friends around the country with pre-paid FedEx box to send it back to me. Chew on that algorithm overlords. Google maps app goes bonkers with me.
Oh good grief! Now I can’t even sleep without being spied on?
Turn it off or surround it with radar absorbent, carbon rich foam.
“Amazon paves the way for the tech giant to monitor users’ movements in the bedroom with extreme precision”
up/down/up/down....sleep...
Full on Orwell
Amazon needs the Bell Telephone treatment!
If most of my neighbors are going to get this, then I guess I’m going to have to full aluminum foil and turn my house into a Faraday Cage.
Last week I saw a TV commercial for a Google made bed with internet connected sensors that tracks your bed movements, supposedly to teach you to improve your sleep, and I was incredulous.
Now Amazon goes a step further with RADAR?
What kind of idiot would buy something like this????
