At Ft Jackson in 1975, 90% of the Drill Instructors and leaders for Basic Training were Black. Guess Jill didn’t get the message that Blacks dominate the leadership in training units. Also, the forgot all about Colin Powell, who was once general of the Army. My division commander was MG Brooks, the 6th Black MG in the army. He commanded the 25th Infantry and was once Colin Powell’s boss in Vietnam. In the military that are leaders of all races and of both male and female. The military is more diverse that most industries in the USA. Jill needs to ask herself this: Why does she and Joe come from a town that is 89% white? She needs to look at herself.
