The path seems much more easy for DeSantis. My hope is for him. 2024 is still a long ways

It will be interesting to watch Trump and DeSantis and how they approach things (and each other) going forward.

Florida Governors race:
Ron DeSantis (R)
4,076,186 49.6%
Andrew Gillum (D)
4,043,723 49.2

Florida Presidential race:
Donald Trump (R) *
1,441,170 62.2%
Joe Biden (D)
849,624 36.7%

DeSantis barely beat Andrew Gillum!
He’s a great governor and has a bright future, but he won by tying himself to Trump. DeSantis might not have even made it to the general election without Trump’s very early endorsement.

The path for DeSantis looks good because he’s not running yet.

The Communists will pull the same routines on him they did
on Trump.
