I'm surprised NBC didn't headline it "Texas Republicans advance VOTER SUPPRESSION bills after all-night hearing."

Thanks. There is stuff like “Texas is one of dozens of states that have worked this year to implement sweeping new voting restrictions” in the article.

Limiting voting to one vote per lawful citizen disintermediated from all the folks who would like to “assist” with getting the ballot to the counting place is a horrifying restriction. It is unconscionable. Really. Racist not letting the democratic fraudsters make sure that the vote totals reflect their understanding of the will of the people.

Or this: David Weinberg ... testified against the bill on behalf of the Brennan Center for Justice at New York University School of Law .... noting that online reports indicate 688,000 Texans received a speeding ticket in one recent year.

Do they fall for that kind of irrelevant twaddle in NYC. Perhaps, but the sway that has with the Texas legislature maybe is not in the direction the learned gentleman from New York expects.

688K tickets in a year is a tiny, tiny, tiny, tiny fraction of the people that speed, if you count it by days speeding alone.

And that’s just in Dallas. I have plenty of dash and helmet camera recordings showing people speeding 10-20 over as a matter of course.
