My kids aren’t in that age group anymore but if they were I’d try to arrange with other parents to have them invited to a “COVID-19 party” when and if one of the kids in the group got active COVID-19. Of course that likely would be mission impossible since the Infected kids would likely not be symptomatic and therefore their parents wouldn’t know about the infection.

Are you purposely mis-stating that, after having been told?
Even the headline of the article you linked, specified that that it was 50% of ADULT cases.
Half the cases are not adults (who have not yet been vaccinated in Israel, but teens now will be), so only half of the other half (one quarter of cases) are among the vaccinated.
Since Israeli adults are about 90% vaccinated, yet only make up half of the adults infected (and fewer of the hospitalized), that clearly shows the strong protection from the vaccine.
Those few vaccinated who are infected, are much more vulnerable (older and co-morbid) than the unvaccinated, on average.
he flu vaccines never prevented us from getting the flu in the first place. The point is that the covid vaccines are stopping delta variant so there is not reason for concern other than getting a cold instead of going to the hospital and possibly dying. Eventually, we’ll need booster shots but no reason for it at this point.
