FNC’s Dr. Siegel: ‘It’s a Big Danger’ to Mandate Masks for Kids in School, There Is a Cost to Kids Wearing Masks

On Saturday’s broadcast of the Fox News Channel’s “Fox & Friends,” Fox News Medical Contributor and Clinical Professor at NYU Grossman School of Medicine Dr. Marc Siegel argued that masks have played a role in decreasing the risk of coronavirus spread between children and said he’s completely in favor of children choosing to wear masks, but “It’s a big danger here to make this mandatory.”

Siegel said, “There’s the issue of the socialization when you have that mask. My 16-year-old confided something in me the other day, he tried — he said taking a test with a mask on is extremely difficult and it interferes with performance. … And then there’s the risk of getting dizzy and having carbon dioxide retention, but — and also the fact that teachers are already vaccinated, most of them and the fact that it’s based on how much virus is in the area. We’re talking about many areas where there’s no virus around at all. And, most importantly, the risk of spread of COVID-19 from kid to kid has been found to be less than 1%. I think masks play a role in that. But, again, what’s the cost? And that has to be considered.”

He added, “The point is that the kids don’t even wear them properly. That’s the biggest thing of all. … So, it’s not even doing anything. And the revolt should be exactly that, where’s your evidence? Where’s your evidence that it’s actually decreasing spread? Because we know that kids are not big spreaders. We know that they’re not having superspreader events in schools. We know that when we kept them out of schools, they were more likely to spread it. And, again, the psychological harm.

I heard this one. So this mother sent her boy off to fifth grade wearing a red, white and blue mask. When he got home, he was wearing a mask that looked like a mouth full of teeth. She said, “Where did you get that mask?” He said, “Oh, we all traded.”

This one happened; cause I’m a baaaaad boy. My doctor’s office was insane about the masks. He’s in a hospital. While the nurse was taking my blood pressure, I said, “I forgot my mask today. Thank goodness this one was lying on the parking lot.” The nurse turned pale. I had to say, “Kidding.”

I went in a BOA branch today and refused the security guards request to wear a mask. I also refused his direction to stand on the red boxes and social distance. I also told him that he should man up and take off that mask because it was causing harm to his health. Then I made a withdrawal and left.

It’s stupid to make kids wear masks. If they want to wear one because Mommy does, and it puts them at ease, cool. But even then they need long breaks from a bacteria contaminated face pant.

Facial expressions are the first subtle non-verbal/body language expressions children learn. Just like a kid will throw a spoon off their highchair a thousand times to prove to themselves it will always fall, they need to test their ability to elicit and mirror expressions in social settings. If Daddy and teacher are masked they have to look to their peers. IF their peers are masked, their development in non-verbal communication skill is interrupted. It’s creating a sort of artifically induced autism - a disconnect. Kids that feel disconnected grow into teens that are angry. Toss the kid masks.

1) a sign of submission, subversion and subjugation
2) mandated in order to dehumanize
3) virtue signaling devices
4) meant to provide constant reinforcement of fear
5) used to destroy community, friends and family normal communication
6) implemented to create isolation, confusion, anxiety, destroy human connectivity, trust and interactions
7) mandated to exacerbate illness
8) intended to aid in the abandonment of the belief and reliance on our immune systems
9) intended to refute integrous science
10) signal to positions of power that you are willing to give up all of your rights and freedoms based on anything they say, even if it is a BIG FAT LIE!
