The Tea Party movement was the beginning. They feared the Grass Roots movement but, they eventually succeeded in squashing that movement because while Grass Roots it was disorganized and lacked focus.
Years later, Donald Trump became the Focus that the movement needed. He stood up at the tip of the spear, like King David.
Donald Trump’s statement that “it’s not me they are after, it’s YOU I’m just in the way”, is the truest and most profound statement in recent America’s history in many many decades.
