In a broad, general sense, I don't like the privacy of LEOs being immediately revealed to the public. That's because of the assumption of innocence and the MSM’s rush to gather a lynch mob.
In this case, it's been six months, Babbitt was unarmed, and the entire investigation was under wraps and kept secret from the American Republic.
If ANYONE can go through the mental gymnastics to justify the appalling difference between the Jan 6 disturbance and the Summer of Hate, I'd be amazed. There is no logical, rational pathway to reach a sane conclusion. Most just give up and go by blind faith.

Forget it Gene. People actually believe that a video shot by a BLM/Antifa activist, dressed as a Trump supporter, surrounded by nothing by Antifa rioters dressed as Trump supporters just happened to have the only Zapruder film of the ONLY Trump supporter dressed in Trump apparel, with a red white and blue fully packed backpack (to help break her fall) was actually shot and killed. But no one can seem to tell you the hospital she was taken to? The Doctor that examined her? The ballistics round that supposedly killed her? The wound she supposedly died from? The autopsy report? The death certificate and the burial plot. Even her husband is really really quiet. If your wife was murdered in a federal building where they wont release the assassins name, how quiet would you be? The whole thing was a gaslighting high school play badly choreographed.

The only explanation to the actions on January 6th was the setup against the MAGA Movement.

Those people scaling the wall are not MAGA supporters. They are Antifa members posing as MAGA supporters.

Or, they know the Dems will turn any look-see into this particular cop into a drumbeat of allegations of racism against any Republican who brings it up because the cop is part of a protected minority, and the real issue of an unarmed female protester being shot by an unusually eager cop will be lost in the mainstream media which will play along with Democrat talking points. The media will cover up the comments this cop allegedly said and turn the cop into a victim instead.

Because Congress has exempted the USCP from Freedom of Information Act requests, the family is suing the D.C. Police “for documents that identify the officer who shot Babbitt … as well as notes and summaries of what the officer said regarding the shooting and the reasons he discharged his weapon.”
