There was a noticable uptick this year in my PA-centric social media feeds of anti-fireworks posts. I just wrote it off as the Karens of the world who have nothing better to do than stay at home and find fault with anyone who dares to live their life sharing scared dog and PTSD soldier memes. There has also been an uptick in “we should change the law in PA” news stories though. It looks like a more coordinated campaign than just memes.

I feel like this problem of people who are inclined to light off explosives in their groins having access to explosives that they can light off in their groins is going to eventually work itself out. Who are we to deny them their destiny?

In my county there were numerous brush fires and two house fires, including the fatal fire mentioned in this story.

The PA law prohibits launch within 150 of a structure which pretty much rules out any urban/suburban area.
