Vice President Kamala Harris announced Thursday that the Democratic National Committee is making a $25 million investment in countering GOP legislation and laws tightening voting requirements.
The new spending measure is a part of an "I Will Vote Campaign" as the party heads into the 2022 midterm elections and looks to maintain the higher rate of voting that occurred during the 2020 general election.

Think of all the low income housing that $25. Million could produce. There is a small percentage of homeless and very low income who know how to maintain a household, and would do well if given the opportunity. These folks want to leave the street life behind. But no.

The only people who are going to benefit from that are the lawyers. I’m skeptical this new Robert’s Court is appreciably more conservative than it was three years ago. BUT, their decision in the Arizona case (I think it was Arizona) a couple weeks ago couldn’t have been clearer; these recent voter laws are going to easily survive judicial review.
What I’m fearful is the Supremes will allow these suits to continue - with some of them likely succeeding at the trial and appellate level - until after the next election. That would be bad.
