Even high schools are approaching this age of professionalism that isn’t really professionalism.
Mater Dei High School in California is a fine example.
There’s a high school for waiters? Do their grads make ends meet by acting, until a good job comes along?

I remember almost 50 years ago a high school player’s dad getting a cushy, high paying job in a small town so he could move to that town that had a better basketball team. It is better to have the visibility so people can really see what is going on.
Bama’s new QB is a Mater Dei grad. I hope that he lives up to the hype.

It is a nice Catholic co-ed school which is located in Santa Ana, California...Nice facilities...But, the school is not in a great neighborhood...I think that kids from other fine cities in Orange County attend that school...
The school has good sports teams, male and female...
